Doula Certification Program Policies
Doula Program Tuition
The Madriella program is free to anyone that is taking the Somatic Arts and Sciences continuing education course "Massage for the Laboring Woman". The cost for that continuing education program is $50.
Registration
The Madriella program has open enrollment, meaning that you can enroll at any time. All of our courses are cognitive home study courses that are delivered to you via email.
Deadlines for registration
There are no registration deadlines for our courses. Requested courses are emailed within 24 hours of the request (usually within a few minutes during business hours).
Refunds
Refunds are not given for the program. The continuing education course is a digital download, so it cannot be "returned" once it has been issued.
It is your responsibility to ensure you have the means of reading the courses (.pdf documents) and taking the tests (Internet connection required).
Graduation and Certification
Madriella students receive their certification upon successful completion of all eleven modules. Certification includes registration of the new Doula in our database and issuance of a formal certificate with an embossed seal. The Certificate is mailed to the new Doula upon graduation.
Doula Certification Verification
Madriella provides a letter of verification if requested online. This letter is sent via email unless a hard copy is specifically requested. This letter only states that you have taken and successfully completed the course.
Testing
All Madriella online tests are "open book" and are not timed. The passing standard is 75%. Tests that are failed must be retaken. There is no testing fee and no fee to retest.
